Sometimes trauma lives deeper than words can reach. Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) is a neuroscience-informed therapy developed by Dr. Frank Corrigan that works at the brainstem level - where your body first registered the shock of what happened to you.
Unlike therapies that ask you to talk through your experiences, DBR works with the physiological sequence underneath the story - gently, precisely, and at a pace your nervous system can tolerate. It is particularly effective for complex trauma, PTSD, and when other therapies feel too activating.

Parts Work is a therapeutic approach that recognizes we all have different aspects of ourselves that developed to help us cope with life's challenges.
You might notice one part of you that pushes hard for perfection, another part that wants to rest, a harsh inner critic that never lets up, and parts that developed to protect you from pain - sometimes through self-sabotage, avoidance, or shutting down completely.
In our work together, I help you understand these internal parts with compassion, resolve the conflicts between them, and create more harmony within yourself.
This approach, informed by Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), helps you develop a healthier relationship with all parts of who you are, leading to greater self-acceptance and inner peace.
It is particularly effective for complex trauma and C-PTSD and integrates well with other therapies like EMDR.

Observed and Experiential Integration (OEI) is a trauma-focused therapy developed by Audrey Cook and Dr. Rick Bradshaw in the 1990s, evolving from EMDR and grounded in the neuroscience of visual pathways.
You may have heard about Brainspotting Therapy - Brainspotting actually evolved from the principles of OEI Therapy .Working with both hemispheres of the brain through eye movements and visual field techniques, OEI helps resolve trauma responses that feel stuck.
Research shows OEI is a promising therapy and is effective for PTSD, panic attacks, anxiety, and dissociation OEI integrates naturally with EMDR and other trauma therapies.
